- Happistart Travel assists with Visitor visa (subclass 600) applications, including helping clients complete the necessary visa application forms accurately. However, we do not guarantee visa approval. The final decision is made by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
2. Documentation & Passport:
- Clients must submit:
- Valid passport copies.
- Completed visa application forms (with assistance from Happistart Travel).
- Passport-sized photographs.
- Additional documents as specified by the Australian Government
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date to Australia.
3. Visa Fees:
- Clients are responsible for Australian visa application fees, which are non-refundable once paid.
- Happistart Travel charges a processing fee for visa assistance, which is also non-refundable once the service is initiated.
4. Health Insurance:
- As part of our comprehensive travel package, Happistart Travel provides adequate health insurance for the duration of your stay in Australia, in accordance with the Australian visa requirements.
- This health insurance covers medical emergencies, hospital stays, and repatriation (if needed), providing peace of mind during your trip.
5. Processing Time:
- The typical processing time for an Australian visa is up to 10 business days, though it may vary. Expedited processing options are available at an additional cost, depending on availability.
6. Visa Rejection:
- If your visa application is rejected, Happistart Travel will issue a full refund of the trip fees, less a $500 processing fee.
- This refund applies only if the visa is denied by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Any related costs, such as flight or accommodation changes, are the client’s responsibility.
7. Client Responsibilities:
- The client is responsible for ensuring that all provided information is accurate and complete. Happistart Travel is not liable for any delays or rejections caused by incorrect or incomplete documentation.
9. Release of Liability:
- Happistart Travel is not liable for any delays, rejections, or costs incurred due to issues with the Australian visa application process.
Happistart Travel: Terms and Conditions
1. Payments & Fees:
- Deposit & Balance:
- A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking and officially enter into the contract.
- The balance for the trip is due 30 days prior to the trip’s start date. Failure to pay the balance on time will incur a late payment fee of $100 for every 10-day delay. If payment is not received after 10 days from the due date and no prior arrangements have been made, the booking will be canceled, and only 50% of paid fees will be refunded.
- Price Adjustments:
- The final price may be adjusted if there are changes in flight prices, accommodation rates, or other services related to the trip. If the price increase exceeds 40%, clients will be notified in writing and will have the option to cancel the trip without incurring cancellation fees.
- Happistart Travel reserves the right to increase the price by up to 40% if unforeseen changes in the travel services occur (e.g., flight price hikes, accommodation changes, etc.).
2. Cancellations & Refunds:
- Client Cancellations:
- If a client cancels the trip 60 days or more before the departure date, a cancellation fee of up to 75% of the total trip price will apply.
- For cancellations made within 60 days of the departure, 100% of the trip price will be retained, as the booking is non-refundable within 60 days of departure.
- Cancellation by Client Due to Severe Illness or Death: If a client cancels due to severe illness (with a doctor’s certificate) or the death of a close family member, cancellation fees may be waived, and a refund request may be processed based on the circumstances.
- Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, war, pandemics), Happistart Travel will assess the situation and offer options including rescheduling or full refunds.
- Third-Party Cancellations: Refunds for cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of third-party service providers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators. Any changes or cancellations by these providers may impact the final refund amount.
3. Payment Methods:
- Payment Options: We offer a variety of payment methods, but please note that non-standard payment methods (e.g., bank transfers, etc.) will incur a $45 processing fee per transaction.
- Payment Deadlines: Payments that are not made by the specified deadlines will incur a $100 fee for every 10-day delay. Should payment remain unpaid after 30 days of the due date without any prior agreement, your booking may be canceled, and 50% of fees paid may be refunded.
4. Cancellation & Refunds Policy (Specific to Delayed Payments):
- Failure to Pay on Time: If the balance payment is not received by the due date, and no prior extension or agreement has been made with Happistart Travel, the reservation will be automatically canceled, and a 50% refund will be available for the amount already paid.
- Refund Claims: Any refund claims must be made within 30 days of cancellation and will be processed as per the above terms and conditions.
5. Release and Usage of Likeness:
- By booking this trip, the client grants Happistart Travel the right to use their likeness, voice, and recordings for promotional purposes in various media formats (e.g., print, video, digital, etc.), which may include future marketing and advertising materials.
6. Additional Terms:
- Travel Insurance: Happistart Travel strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential risks such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
- Changes to Travel Dates or Itinerary: While Happistart Travel aims to deliver the trip as planned, we reserve the right to make modifications to itineraries, accommodations, or travel services in case of unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
- Liability: Happistart Travel is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damages incurred during the trip, except where it is legally required.
Cancellation & Refund Exceptions
Cancellation Fees Will Not Apply in the following cases:
- Force Majeure: In case of natural disasters, political unrest, or other circumstances beyond control that prevent the trip from taking place.
- Significant Price Increases: If Happistart Travel increases the price by more than 40%, clients may choose to cancel the booking without penalty.
- Health or Family Emergency: If the client or an immediate family member experiences severe illness (doctor’s note required) or death, cancellation fees will be waived, subject to documentation.
