  General Notes for All Travelers:

· Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

· You should have at least 2 blank pages for entry stamps and visas.

· A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into certain countries on this trip.

🇰🇪 Kenya

Jamaican, U.S., U.K., and Canadian citizens are all required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before arrival in Kenya.

🇿🇲 Zambia

Jamaican, U.S., U.K., and Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for tourist stays.

A Yellow Fever certificate may be requested upon arrival if traveling from or through a risk zone.

🇿🇼 Zimbabwe

Jamaican citizens can enter visa-free for up to 90 days.

U.S., U.K., and Canadian citizens can obtain a visa on arrival (fees apply).

🇿🇦 South Africa

Jamaican, U.S., U.K., and Canadian citizens do not require a visa for visits up to 90 days.

The total cost of your trip includes a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit and a remaining balance.

Your booking is only confirmed after the deposit is paid and your digital travel contract is signed.

The Happistart African Safari Experience is a curated, pre-planned group experience. As such, all payments are used to secure your accommodations, tours, and flights. Therefore, this trip is considered partially non-refundable, and travelers must be fully committed before booking.

Pricing is based on the client’s confirmed preferences. Changes within 45 days of departure may result in increased costs due to revised airfare, hotel rates, or supplier charges.

Happistart reserves the right to increase the total cost by up to 40%. Any price changes will be shared in writing. The final balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before departure. Late payments are subject to a USD 350 late fee.

You can make payments using the following methods:

• Online credit and debit card payments
• CIBC Bank transfers or deposits (JMD & USD)
• Scotiabank transfers or deposits (JMD & USD)
• Zelle

Any alternate payment method not listed above will attract a $45 USD transaction fee. Fees are subject to change until payment is confirmed.

❌ Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation penalties apply:

• 60 to 45 days before departure: 60% of the total trip cost
• 45 to 20 days before departure: 75% of the total trip cost
• 20 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip cost

In all cases, a standard cancellation processing fee of $750 USD applies.

Once a cancellation request is submitted, Happistart will initiate the 4cancellation of your flights, hotels, and tours. After the trip concludes, you will receive documentation of any available travel credits from our vendors.

🛑 Exceptions to Cancellation Fees

Cancellation penalties will be waived in the following cases:

• If Happistart increases the total price by more than 40% after confirmation
• In the case of severe illness (with official doctor’s note)
• In the event of the death of an immediate family member
• In case of force majeure (natural disaster, political unrest, or emergencies beyond the traveler’s control)

However, if any of these exceptions occur less than 30 days before departure, the full contract price may still be charged, depending on the status of pre-booked, non-refundable travel arrangements.
