The total cost of the trip includes a non-refundable deposit and a remaining balance. A traveler is officially confirmed once both the deposit has been paid and the digital travel contract has been signed.

The balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before departure. Late payments will attract a USD 150 fee. If a traveler fails to make a payment within 10 days of the due date and has not communicated with the Happistart team, their reservation will be canceled. In this case, 50% of any amount paid (excluding the deposit) will be eligible for a refund.

Trip pricing is based on group rates and current airline and hotel fees. Should external factors such as airline surcharges, hotel changes, or tax increases occur, Happistart reserves the right to increase the final price by up to 20%. Any such adjustment will be communicated to the client in writing at least 21 days before departure.

Travelers may cancel their reservation at any time; however, cancellation fees will apply based on proximity to the departure date:

• If canceled 90 to 45 days before departure, the traveler will be charged 35% of the total trip cost.
• If canceled 45 to 25 days before departure, the traveler will be charged 75% of the total trip cost.
• If canceled 25 days or less before departure, the traveler will be charged 100% of the total trip cost.

Visa Denial Clause
If a visa application is denied, the traveler will receive a refund of all payments made except for the non-refundable deposit and any visa processing fees. Official proof of denial from the consulate or embassy must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees will not apply in the following circumstances:

• If Happistart alters the travel contract price by more than 30%.
• In the case of a serious illness or medical emergency, documentation from a licensed medical provider.
• In the event of a death in the immediate family.
• In situations involving force majeure, such as natural disasters or government-imposed travel bans.

Please note, if any of these exceptions occur within 15 days of departure, Happistart reserves the right to retain the full package cost due to prior commitments made on behalf of the traveler.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. All fees and penalties are based on the full trip price, including flights, accommodations, tickets, and services. Policies are subject to revision prior to the finalization of group reservations.

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised experience for all families, the following rules apply to all travelers joining this family trip.

1. All travelers under the age of 16 are considered minors and must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
2. Children may not be accompanied by anyone under the age of 21. The supervising adult must be at least 21 years old.
3. Children aged 15 and older are considered adults for fare purposes. You must select two adults in the booking when traveling with a child over 15.
4. No unaccompanied minors, teens, or young adults will be accepted. You must be at least 21 years old and chaperoning a child to participate in this trip. Exceptions may apply.
5. Solo adults are not permitted on this trip. This experience is designed for families and children, and no adult will be accepted without a child. Adults are encouraged to explore other Happistart trips designed specifically for adults. Exceptions may apply.
6. This trip includes a single destination only—Disney World Orlando. The itinerary is fixed, and no adjustments will be made for individual travelers.
7. For school groups, there must be at least one adult chaperone for every six students under the age of 15.
8. All teachers or group leaders must have written parental consent for each child they accompany outside the country. Additional conditions may apply for school group bookings.
9. All adults traveling with children must be the legal parent or guardian. At this time, minors who are not accompanied by their legal guardian cannot be accepted, unless the exception below applies.
10. Newborns will not be accepted on this trip unless the parent is also accompanying another child.
11. A valid U.S. tourist visa is required for all travelers. Families who do not currently possess a visa and do not meet visa eligibility will not be accepted. Happistart will assist with visa processing for those who need one.
12. Travelers who already possess a valid multiple-entry U.S. visa may participate without reapplying.
13. An adult over 21 may chaperone a child who is not their own only if both the adult and child already possess valid U.S. visas and the adult has written, notarized consent from the child’s legal parent or guardian. All such exceptions are subject to Happistart approval.
14. All travelers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and follow the rules set by Happistart staff, hotel management, and theme park authorities. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the group at the guardian’s expense.
15. Parents or guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs of the child at the time of booking. This allows Happistart to provide adequate support and notify emergency personnel if necessary.
16. Travel insurance covering trip interruption, medical emergencies, and visa denial is strongly recommended. Travelers without insurance will travel at their own risk.
17. Travelers are responsible for their own belongings at all times. Happistart is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during the trip.
18. In the event of a medical or safety emergency and when a parent or guardian cannot be immediately reached, Happistart reserves the right to act in the best interest of the child under professional guidance.
19. All parents or guardians must sign an acknowledgment confirming they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules before final payment or visa processing.

For Travelers Requiring a U.S. Visa – Please Read Carefully

At Happistart, we welcome families from across the Caribbean to join us on unforgettable travel experiences. However, to protect your time, energy, and finances, please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before registering for this trip.

These requirements apply only to travelers who do not currently possess a valid U.S. tourist visa.

ADULT APPLICANTS (Ages 18+)

You must meet all of the following conditions to be eligible for visa processing through Happistart:

1. You have not been denied a U.S. visa more than three times in the past 5 Years
2. You do not have any pending or open immigration petitions with the United States.
3. You are not currently married to a U.S. citizen.
4. You are gainfully employed and can provide proof of income and financial stability.
5. You have a clean criminal record with no charges or convictions.
6. You have no previous immigration violations with any country (including revoked visas, deportation, removal proceedings, or denied petitions).

MINOR APPLICANTS (Ages 2–18)

Minors applying for a visa must also meet the following criteria:

1. The applicant has not been denied a U.S. visa more than two times in the past.
2. The applicant does not have any parents currently residing in the U.S..
3. There are no active or pending immigration filings for the child.
4. The applicant is currently enrolled in a full-time educational institution.
5. The applicant has no record of canceled or revoked U.S. visas.

Additional Notes

• Consular Officers make decisions at their discretion. Meeting all requirements does not guarantee visa approval.
• Supporting documents do not replace credibility. Interview responses must align with documentation and show clear intent to return.
• Applicants should avoid applying if they intend to visit relatives or give misleading information. Misrepresentation can lead to a 5-year ban from entering the U.S.
• All information will be verified during the visa screening process.
• Happistart reserves the right to decline visa processing for any applicant who does not meet the criteria above.
• If your visa application is denied, all fees paid (excluding the visa processing fee and non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.
