About this trip

On this trip, we will be exploring  Panama City and Guatemala City 

Panama City: Panama City, the capital of Panama, is a modern city framed by the Pacific Ocean and the man-made Panama Canal. Casco Viejo, its  cobblestoned historic center, is famed for colonial-era landmarks like  the neoclassical Palacio Presidencial and bougainvillea-filled plazas  lined with cafes and bars

Guatemala City: Guatemala City is the capital of Guatemala, in Central  America. It’s known for its Mayan history, high-altitude location, and nearby volcanoes. On Central Plaza Mayor, also known as Parque Central,  the Metropolitan Cathedral is full of colonial paintings and religious carvings. The National Palace of Culture has a balcony overlooking the  square

On this trip, we will be exploring these amazing cities and immersing in the Mayan history and culture.

Visa and Entry Requirements

Panama – Panama is visa-free on a Jamaican Passport 

Guatemala – Guatemala requires a US, UK, or Canadian visa for entry without any listed travelers will need to Apply for a Guatemalan visa during our stay in Panama (Happistart will provide documentation and instructions for visa processing)
