Entry Requirements

• All travelers must have a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date.
• Happistart assists with all visa processes through our HappiVisas team, including form preparation, supporting letters, and application submission.

Terms and Conditions

1. Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your spot on this trip. The contract between you and Happistart becomes effective once your deposit is received. Payment plans are available through WeTravel or direct bank transfer.

All balances must be paid no later than 45 days before departure. Late payments incur a US $350 fee. Failure to make payment within 10 days of the due date, without an approved extension, will result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of 50% of fees paid (excluding the deposit).

2. Pricing and Adjustments

Trip pricing is based on group rates and supplier costs at the time of booking. If there are significant changes in airfare, accommodation, or taxes prior to final payment, Happistart reserves the right to adjust the total trip cost by up to 40%. Any change exceeding 20% allows the traveler to cancel without penalty.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation penalties are as follows:

• 60–40 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost
• 40–20 days before departure: 75% of total trip cost
• 20–0 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost

Exceptions may be granted only in cases of serious illness (with medical certificate), death of an immediate family member, or force majeure events. Refunds will be processed minus applicable service, airline, or supplier fees.

4. Rooming and Occupancy

All prices are based on shared double occupancy. Travelers requesting a private room must select the single occupancy upgrade at the time of booking. Roommate pairings are coordinated by Happistart when possible, but cannot be guaranteed after the balance due date.

5. Passport, Visa, and Vaccination Requirements

All travelers must have a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date, with at least two (2) blank pages.

Happistart’s HappiVisas division assists all travelers with visa applications, including form completion, supporting documents, and submission guidance.

Travelers are responsible for obtaining required vaccinations and providing proof where applicable. Happistart is not responsible for travelers denied entry due to vaccination, documentation, or immigration issues.

6. Travel Insurance

All Happistart group trips include travel medical insurance up to USD $50,000 through IM Global. This covers emergency medical treatment and repatriation of remains.

Extreme sports and recreational drug use are not covered under this policy. Additional trip cancellation or interruption coverage is recommended and can be purchased separately.

7. Trip Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Itineraries are pre-arranged and may not be customized for individual travelers. Happistart reserves the right to make necessary itinerary or hotel substitutions due to operational needs, supplier changes, or safety concerns. All substitutions will be of equal or higher standard.

8. Traveler Conduct

All travelers must act responsibly and respectfully toward fellow travelers, guides, and local communities. Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from group activities or the trip without refund.

9. Liability and Responsibility

Happistart acts solely as a booking agent for airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers. We are not liable for acts, errors, delays, cancellations, or injuries resulting from the actions of third-party providers, except in cases of proven negligence by Happistart.

In all cases, Happistart’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the traveler for the trip.

10. Media Release

By joining this trip, you grant Happistart permission to use your image, voice, or likeness in promotional content, including photography, video, or digital media, without additional consent or compensation.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your deposit or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Happistart Travel Services Agreement.
