On this trip, we will be visiting 2 Asian countries. Asia is the world’s largest and most diverse continent. The cities we will visit are rich in Food, culture, and History.

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches,  rivers, Buddhist pagodas, and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French  colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.

Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka is an island nation located in the Indian Ocean, just off the southeastern coast of India.  Despite its modest size—slightly larger than the state of West  Virginia—Sri Lanka has a population of about 20 million people, almost equal to the population of Texas.
