Visa-Free Travel – No visa is required for most nationalities to enter Peru.

Passport Validity Rule – Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure from Peru. This is a strict requirement enforced by the Peruvian government.

Important Note: Travelers who do not meet the passport validity requirement may be denied entry at immigration. Please check your passport’s expiration date before booking.

Vaccination Requirements: 💉
✔️ No mandatory vaccinations for Peru. However, we recommend the Yellow Fever vaccine if you plan to visit jungle regions.

Booking & Payment Structure

• Each trip price consists of two parts:
  ✔️ A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $250 (required at booking).
  ✔️ The remaining balance, due per the outlined payment schedule.
• ⚠️ Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of circumstances, promotions, or special offers.
• Your booking is confirmed once the $250 deposit is received, officially entering you into a contract with Happistart Travel.
• Even if a promotional discount applies to your trip, the $250 deposit is still required and remains non-refundable.

Pricing Adjustments

• The total price of the trip is based on individual demand and is agreed upon at booking.
• If there are price increases (e.g., airfare, accommodation, taxes, or fees) up to 45 days before departure, Happistart reserves the right to adjust the price by up to 40%.
• Clients will be notified in writing of any price changes. If the price increase exceeds 40%, the client has the right to cancel without penalty.

Balance Payment & Late Fees

• The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before departure.
• Late Payment Fee: Payments made after the due date will incur a $200 late fee for every 10-day delay.
• If a payment is more than 10 days overdue and no extension is arranged, Happistart reserves the right to cancel the traveler’s spot. In this case, 50% of paid fees may be refunded, provided the traveler submits a request within 30 days of cancellation. This is subject to cancellation and refund terms.
• Late Sign-Up Fee: Travelers who book after the standard signup deadline will be charged a $350 late sign-up fee in addition to their deposit and trip cost.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

Refund Policy Based on Cancellation Timing:

• Outside of 45 days before departure:
  ✔️ Travelers will receive a full refund minus the $250 deposit, subject to any fees already incurred for trip planning (e.g., airline tickets, accommodations, administrative costs).
• 45 – 30 days before departure:
  ❌ 75% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
• 30 – 0 days before departure:
  ❌ 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.

Exceptions – No Cancellation Fees Apply If:

1. Happistart increases the contract price by more than 40%.
2. The traveler has a severe illness (doctor’s documentation required) or experiences the death of an immediate family member.
3. Cancellation is due to a force majeure event (natural disasters, war, government travel bans, etc.).

• Hotel, airline, and tour operator refund policies apply to all cancellations. Refunds are subject to these third-party policies.

Payment Terms & Conditions

✔️ Flexible Payment Options: Happistart offers multiple payment methods, but alternative payment methods incur a $45 transaction fee per payment.
✔️ ⚠️ Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, even if booking under a promotion or discounted rate.
✔️ Fee Changes: Prices are subject to change until group reservations are finalized.
✔️ Payment Plan Compliance: Payments must follow the outlined schedule. Failure to pay within 10 days of a due date without an agreed extension results in cancellation.

Media Release Agreement

By booking a trip, the Client grants Happistart Travel permission to:
✔️ Use their likeness, voice, and image in promotional materials.
✔️ Publish, broadcast, stream, reproduce, or display recordings in any format, including print, digital, and video.
✔️ Utilize media for marketing, advertising, and travel promotion purposes.

• Ensure You Understand Cancellation Policies: Refunds depend on supplier (hotel, airline, and tour operator) terms.
