At Happistart, we make your visa application process simple and stress-free. Follow these four steps to begin your journey:

Step 2: Collect Your Documents
Gather all required documents listed under the visa application for your selected country. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at travelhappistart@gmail.com for guidance.

Step 3: Make Your Payment
Once your documents are ready, proceed to make payment using the provided payment methods. Payment confirms your intent to start the process.

Step 4: Submit Your Application
Complete our Visa Request Form to submit all your documents via email and officially begin your application process.

Our Policy

  • By making a payment, you agree to all Happistart terms and conditions.
  • All visa payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
  • Applications submitted to the embassy cannot be changed or edited.
  • Interview appointments may only be rescheduled up to 72 hours before your appointment date.
  • Paper-based visas require printed hard copies of documents for in-person submission.
  • Online-based visas will be submitted digitally, but some embassies may require biometric data to complete your process.

Important Notes

  • Payment authorizes Happistart to make bookings and payments on your behalf.
  • Visa fees may not include the embassy’s visa cost — please review all charges before proceeding.
  • Paid applications with incomplete documents will only be held for 30 days. After this period, you must restart the process.
  • It is your responsibility to submit all documents in a timely manner.

  • All documents must be scanned clearly — phone photos with glares or shadows will not be accepted.

Steps after obtaining all documents
 
All documents should be translated to Spanish since Spanish is the official language of Costa Rica. This can be done at the Language Training Center, located at 31 Half Way Tree Road, and the University of West Indies.
Once all documents are translated, you are required to take BOTH versions of the documents (English and Spanish) to the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Jamaica. The cost to apostille each document is JMD$3500.
Please be advised that Jamaica has now joined the Hague Convention, which means that documents are no longer required to be legalized at the Consulate. Once apostilled by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the documents are valid in Costa Rica.

The documents you must attach to your Australian tourist visa application include:

  • Your passport.
  • A copy of your passport’s identity page.
  • The Visitor Visa Subclass 600 Form.
  • A recent picture of yourself. It must have a white background and you must be clearly and fully visible.
  • Proof you can sustain yourself financially while you are in Australia. You must include your bank statements or a letter from your sponsor claiming they will help cover your finances during your visit.
  • Proof you have travel health insurance.
  • Letter from your employer (if applicable). It must state the requested time of leave and when you intend to return.
  • Letter from your school (if applicable). The letter must prove your enrollment and when you are expected to return.
  • Letter of Invitation (if applicable). If you have a family member or a friend in Australia who can sponsor you, they must write you a letter of invitation. The letter must include the relation between the two of you, the duration of your stay, whether you will stay with them, and what you intend to do during your visit.
  • If you have a sponsor in Australia: your sponsor has to pay a security bond, which will be returned to them after you leave Australia.
  • If traveling to get medical treatment: a letter from your doctor and hospital in Australia stating the details of your condition and the type of treatment you will receive.
  • Proof of accommodation in Australia, such as hotel reservations or rental contracts.
  • Proof of booked flight tickets and a complete travel itinerary.
  • Evidence that you will return to your home country before the visa expires.

Here are the documents you will need to get started on your Cayman Visa application

  • A valid passport with at least six months validity remaining, and enough space to insert a visa.
  • Two fully completed and signed application forms. (we will be provided)
  • Two recent passport-sized color photographs, taken on a plain white background

The US islands in the Caribbean are Puerto Rio and the US virgin islands.

Jamaicans traveling on a Jamaican passport will need a USA visa these islands.

The USA visa process is very simple, it includes 2 steps, submission of your information to the embassy and attending an in-person interview.

Requirements

The US does not require applications to produce any documents in order to submit their application to the US embassy for review

If you are planning a brief visit to the U.S. for business or tourism, you might need to apply for a visitor or a transit visa. These are the steps you should take:

  1. Determine which visa you might need for your visit.

Most business and tourism travelers use B-1 and B-2 visitor visas.

    • B-1 visa classification is for business travelers to consult with business associates, attend a conference, settle an estate, or negotiate a contract.
    • B-2 visa classification is for tourists on vacation and people coming for medical treatment, a social event, or participation in amateur contests for no pay.

Transit visas are less common.

    • Transit C visa classification is for foreign nationals traveling through the U.S. to another country and stopping briefly in the U.S. as part of their travel to the next foreign destination.
    • Transit C-1, D, and C-1/D visas are for crew members of sea vessels or international airlines traveling to the U.S.

    • Independent business travelers: you must provide official proof that you own a registered business and show a tax return for the past year.
  5. Additional information on the purpose of your visit
    1. Visiting family or friends
    • You must provide a guarantor’s declaration, letter or email proving that you will be staying with the person in question.
    1. Tourism
      • You must provide a copy of your accommodation reservation containing the contact details and your reservation number. Or you must provide proof that you are taking part in a group trip.
    2. Business
      • You must provide a letter of invitation from a company in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom and a letter from your employer. Both letters must contain the following information: your job, the reason for your visit
  6. Medical insurance
    • You must show an official document from your insurance company. The document must prove that the insurance is in your name. It must also prove that your insurance policy provides medical cover

MINORS

  • Minor applications must be accompanied by the child’s birth certificate and proof of identity for the child’s parent(s) or guardian(s).
  • If the child will not be travelling with their parents, or if only 1 of the child’s parents will be accompanying the child, you must provide a declaration of consent signed by both parents or whoever has parental responsibility. If only 1 parent has parental responsibility for the child, you will need to provide a court judgment or a statement from a court confirming this.

  2. Visa Application Form and appointment (provided by Happistart)

Please prepare the application form and materials according to this notice and come to the embassy at the appointed time. If the physical documents do not meet the requirements or not sufficient, the application may be returned. No preliminary review is required.

  1. Photo – A recently-taken color passport photo (bare-head, full face, against a light background).
  2. Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship)

If you are not applying for the visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of your valid residence permit of stay, residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal staying provided by the relevant authorities of the country where you are currently staying.

  1. Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous visa for China (Mainland only) (applicable to foreign citizens who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship)
  2. An invitation letter issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation or other invitation letters issued by a relevant entity or individual. The invitation letter should contain:
    1. Information on the applicant (full name, gender, passport number, date of birth, etc.)
    2. Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures)
    3. Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual)
  1. A photocopy of the Business License of the inviter in China.
  2. Photocopies of the Business License of the applicant’s company in Jamaica and the page of the License having the full name of the applicant printed or an introduction letter from the employer.
